Bars Unknown
With our passports collecting dust in our drawers, we thought...why not bring a collection of bars from afar to you?
For the next few months, we're collaborating with some of our dearest friends from bars around the world and trying our utmost best to transporting their dedicated experiences to you. In a glass. We hope it does for you, what it does for us, fill up the urge to pack your bags and take off.
Part 1: El Copitas, St. Petersburg, Russia
22-28 Feb, 2021
El Copitas Bar is a small Mexican place in the very heartbeat of Saint-Petersburg with the collection of unique spirits and cocktails that is really hard to find without a booking call.
During four years of existence, the bar and the team have been nominated and highlighted with the most renowned awards in the bar industry. Three years in a row appearing on World's 50 Best Bars List proving the ability and ambition to be one of the most respected bar establishments in Eastern Europe.
Every weekend food menu and drinks list is updated. You can always eat tacos, churros, nachos and Mexican posole soup. For regular guests, they serve in personalized cups for the correct “kiss” of mezcal and tequila. A special feature of the cocktail menu is the constant search for new and relevant ingredients.
This Mexican bar in the heart of the bar-route of St. Petersburg has long been included in the list of obligatory visiting places for guests and residents of the Northern Capital.
We kick-off our 'Bars Unknown' tour with two house cocktails from El Copitas Bar in St. Petersburg! Yes, no passports needed, and we even promise to shed some light on Mexican hospitality whilst we are at it too! (Did I hear something about mezcal and tequila? Chingón!)
